The BOYKIN HAIR PRODUCT COMPANY was founded 20 years ago in Birmingham, Alabama by a Christian beautician, Mrs. Beizora Boykin. The products are designed to preserve the health of the hair and scalp, to overcome and combat disorders of the scalp, such as dandruff and the loss of hair, and to stimulate the blood stream so as to force the blood to feed the scalp naturally and normally. The formula for the products themselves and how they came about is a very interesting, yet true story. Mrs. Boykin tells it like this:

I had been a beautician for several years and had seen all kinds of hair and scalp conditions. It disturbed me that outside of the book learning I had done, there was really very little I could do to help remedy these hair problems. I sincerely wanted to help, but I didn't know how.

A customer of mine had a little girl named Faye. For some reason, Faye's hair just would not grow no matter what the mother used on it.
